Bryan Massey has built a prolific career in voice acting since earning his breakout role as the violent Chicago gangster Ladd Russo in Baccano!, a performance that won him a Dubby Award in 2009 and established his distinctive gravelly voice as a signature in the industry. Born in Michigan and raised in Dallas, Massey combined his unique vocal instrument with a natural sense of humor to carve out a niche in anime dubbing, video games, and on-screen work that has spanned hundreds of recognizable characters across multiple decades.
His extensive anime credits include Cocytus in Overlord, Monkey D. Dragon in One Piece, Oolong throughout the Dragon Ball franchise, Dick Gumshoe in Ace Attorney, Tenshiro Okakura in Rideback, and Teppei Hōjō in Higurashi: When They Cry.
Beyond animation, Massey has appeared in major feature films including Detective Brinkley in Mad Money with Diane Keaton and Ted Danson, Skeeter in Oliver Stone’s W, and Officer Lerma in the Nicolas Cage thriller Drive Angry.
